Now Launching Plant the Seed

Contemporary West is now launching our Plant the Seed Initiative! The mission of Plant the Seed is to contribute to the attempt to end sex-trafficking. We work closely with a local organization called Catholic Charities Prostitution Diversion Program. Our owner volunteers there teaching the young women in the program a craft monthly. The time spent with these amazing girls is the perfect opportunity to plant seeds in their minds and potentially unbind the chains put around their lives through the horrors of sex-trafficking. We are selling hand-painted pots painted by the women in the class. The proceeds from the pots will be put back into the class and donated to the Diversion Program. It is hard to grow a seed. However, with the right love and care one will eventually grow. If we can plant a seed and help it grow in the mind of one survivor, that survivor will turn around and plant another. We are passionate about this initiative because every life is worth living to its fullest potential. The pots can be ordered by contacting us directly through email.
