History and Description Of Contemporary West Fine Art

Our Story

Contemporary West Fine Art represents a variety of different artists with a focus on up-and-coming artists; both local and not. We provide fine art for any and all decorative needs as well as an outlet for artists to be promoted and represented. The goal of our company is to show the world that anything is possible and beauty is right in front of us all.
Originally established in 1985, Contemporary West Fine Art originated out of Denver, Colorado under the name, Colorado Fine Art. In 1993 we relocated to Glendale, Arizona and became Contemporary West Fine Art. The original owners, Mary Kay(Kati Roberts) and Terry Sproull(Candillac Jones), specialized in fine contemporary abstract art. The company also represented various other artists alongside the company’s original two artists.
In 2009, the company went on pause due to the unexpected passing of one of its owners, Terry. The company laid dormant until recent. It has now been rebuilt by the owners’ daughter. Under this new ownership, the company is being taken in a fresh new direction. The company still features established artists such as Kati Roberts but is now heavily focusing on the bright future of emerging artists such as Beata Steiner and Kayla Rae.
In a world full of insanity Contemporary West wishes to cultivate the craziness into beauty for the world. With every brush stroke our artists aim is to create something amazing and special for each and every viewer. We hope to create a world only of beauty and serenity.
